UNGA Nominated Twice for the Loyalty Magazine Awards 2020
The Loyalty Magazine Awards 2020 will gather the leaders of the loyalty business from across the globe to celebrate creativity and reward the best programs as they do each year. We are thrilled to announce that two of our campaigns have been nominated in the Best Short-Term Loyalty Initiatives in 2020.
Little Checkers and Little Chefs shortlisted for the Loyalty Magazine Awards 2020
In 2019, we proudly collaborated with inspired grocery retailers from various countries. Two of our most meaningful campaigns eventually led us to the finals of the Loyalty Magazine Awards 2020.
In South Africa, Little Checkers helped the retailer to build customer loyalty, brick by brick. The campaign had customers lined up in front of supermarkets to collect 35 different building block packs. The promotion aimed at building a complete Checkers store. Consequently, Little Checkers brought families together to play, learn and build.
Meanwhile in the Netherlands, Little Chefs was designed for PLUS to add flavor to children’s life. Families collected 20 seedling kits with the help of cheerful characters. Little Chefs introduced children to new ingredients in a fun way. Additionally, the campaign helped them learn to grow herbs and eat healthy.
UNGA finalist in the Best Short-Term Loyalty Initiatives
The judges for this category look for a program that increased customer loyalty. The LMA website states that, “Results which illustrate increased basket value, shopper visits, a propensity to remain loyal to the brand and increased market share for the brand will be viewed favorably by the judges.”
In this context, PLUS and Checkers rewarded families with fun and educational products over 6 and 7 weeks. Further, as can be seen, UNGA’s concepts always put kids’ development and entertainment first. They help grocery retailers make their customers’ shopping experience memorable.
The judges will reveal the winners at The Gala Evening, which will take place in London in June.
